DWC systems typically consist of a deep reservoir and a net pot. The net pot is suspended above the nutrient solution, and the roots of the plant are completely submerged in the solution. To ensure sufficient oxygen supply to the roots, an air stone connected to an air pump is usually added at the bottom of the reservoir, which helps circulate nutrient solution and supply oxygen through bubbles.
